Michael Rosen’s newest children’s book is Oh Dear, Look What I Got!
Incy enjoyed this book because it reminded her of the similar style and repetition of Rod Campbell’s Oh Dear. It is also reminiscent of Rod Campbell’s lovely Dear Zoo book. Due to the simple repetitive style of writing, combined with Helen Oxenbury’s wonderful illustrations, Incy declared this book a winner. (Helen Oxenbury is of the fantastic 10 Little Fingers fame)
Is it a storybook? Is it a poem? IT’S BOTH. This is why incyappleseed is both a book and poetry website because the two are so closely entwined.
