Incy adores the library! Where would we be without libraries? Libraries ensure that everyone in the local community has access to resources and facilities they might not otherwise have. Our local libraries hold wonderful events including those aimed especially at children. Author meet and greet – Thalia S.A.
Thalia S.A., author of Mermaid Lagoon, visited Rugby library where Incy and others listened to her speak about how she came to be a published author. She published her book Mermaid Lagoon aged just 10. Thalia held a book signing afterwards.
Incy met Thalia’s lovely family who all support Thalia in her writing career, assisting her at author events such as this one.
The library held crafting events, giving visitors the chance to decorate canvas bags that they could keep.
Time for some colouring!
It was inspiring for Incy to meet another young writer.
Incy says she would love to grow up and be a published author like Thalia.
